What’s happened???
New update has almost wiped this app out of how useful it used to be.
My favourites have disappeared, all reviews and facilities previously shown have all disappeared.. every time I open the app it’s as if im opening it for the first time and gives me things to comfirm etc.
Hopefully this is just temporary and will be fixed soon.
I used to love this app so much!

Worth it to spend few bucks $
If you are in NZ and owning self contained vehicle definitely spend few bucks for this app. We been travelling around NZ over 2 years and tried many apps for freedom camping WikiCamps are the best in deed. It saved as lots of money and time as other apps didn’t show all free campsites and also have offline mode you just have to download offline maps while you connect to data.
Five star delight
I’ve been using WikiCamps in NZ for some time now and find it invaluable. Don’t know how I’d manage to find places to stay! The trip planner is also a wonderful accessory- I’m sure I’d forget where and when I’d been to stay! Absolutely 10 out of 10. Thoroughly recommend it to anyone and everyone. Top marks 👌👍🙌 I have also used WikiCamps Australia which was just as invaluable.
