The Z EV charging app is for EV customers that want a simple way to find Z charging stations and want a fast way to charge and pay for their car charging across multiple locations. Customers can have access to a live view of available Z EV charging stations nearby, and frictionless payment method via Z EV charging App.
Z's on an important mission to enable NZ’s low carbon transition. We want to give our customers sustainable options for their mobility.
EV drivers can conveniently charge at locations on popular highway routes and inner city locations, our Z EV Charging sites make the ultimate pitstop, with toilets, fresh coffee, comprehensive food selections and comfortable surroundings to enjoy all whilst you charge.

Painful signup process
Takes ages to sign up— you need to give it every tiny detail of your life, and when you finally get in, you have to add credit, rather than just paying as you go
Totally rubbish app
As others have said, this app is junk. The sign up process is a tedious and intrusive nightmare that doesn’t work with password managers, and when you finally get the thing running the functionality is extremely poor.
For instance, the app shows if the charger is in use, but doesn’t show the percentage or rate of charge - so you have no way of knowing if the person charging will be there for 5 minutes or 2 hours. But at least the app coders included the ID of the charger - something no-one has ever needed to know.
Frankly, the app looks like the result of a My First Coding Project boot-camp.
If they added ability to paste
The biggest thing it’s missing is the ability to paste into any input field. Bit lazy and it does require a bit more effort to set up, this needs fixing.
I didn’t think that the data collected on sign up was intrusive. First name, last name, and mobile number is pretty reasonable given that they’re gonna take your credit card number anyway
