Be your own camera person

Your pose is perfect, the light is just right and the background is free of passers-by. Your friend snaps a photo, hands your phone back to you – and you’re sorely disappointed with the results. If only you could have been behind the camera. With AiryCam, that’s possible.

Download AiryCam on two devices, and you can use the shutter button on your phone to take a photo with your friend’s phone camera.

Ensure that both phones are on the same Wi-Fi network. If there’s no Wi-Fi available, set up a hotspot connection. You’ll see the name of the other phone on your interface; send them a request. When they accept, you can see the view from their camera in real time, on your screen.

If you’re too far away to talk, use the “Hold to talk” feature found in the lower right-hand corner. Tap, record and release, and the message will be transmitted to your friend’s phone: “Move to the left a little. Put me in the centre of the frame!”

Want to find the right pose? Tap the button in the lower right-hand corner of the viewfinder and the posture function will appear on both phones at the same time.

Tap the timer to shoot with a delay of three or five seconds. When the photo is taken, it’ll automatically be sent to your phone. With you behind the camera, you can guarantee that every photo of you is picture-perfect.
