Nano Golf: Puzzle Putting

View

Nano Golf takes traditional crazy golf and cranks the action up to 11, with the classic windmills and sloped banks quickly making way for teleports and laser beams. Excited much?

Now, while your hit-and-hope method when playing actual crazy golf will certainly get you started here, it’s an approach that won’t get you very far.

You'll quickly find yourself forced into taking on putts that unlock doors, avoid spikes and dodge onrushing golf buggies.

Timing and skill are definitely needed.

That’s because Nano Golf is as much a puzzle as it is a sporting endeavour, and making mistakes – trust us, there will be plenty of them – is key to learning how best to tackle certain holes and obstacles.

Even when you’ve got your head around things like the pulse patterns of the lasers or the angles needed to gracefully roll around gaping chasms, this isn’t an easy game to beat.

With the game’s punishingly strict par scores giving you ever tougher tests to strive for, you’ll want to replay holes again and again in pursuit of perfection. Yes, it’s hard, but it’s seriously fun, too.
