Inaccurate map position
Having bought an iPhone 5 for the purpose of mirroring in my new car, I am extremely disappointed with Google Maps on my iPhone.
The maps on both the phone and car show my position in a completely different place. Having checked on line have established that this is a know problem with many complaints. Further more it was stated that Google are aware of this with no remedy to date.
I am stunned that Google maps cannot resolve this issue, and request assistance asap.
GPS positioning isn’t working
Navigation and gps location positioning doesn’t work, it tends to hang in a start position and then may be after sometime shows our correct position and hangs in there again this keeps repeating.
I’ve tried reset location settings, network settings, app uninstall and reinstall. Still it persists.
Not opening app when tapping a shared location
Whenever i tap on a shared location it won’t take me directly to the app but rather open safari web version of google maps and when I try to open the location with the app it directs me to app store to download google maps when I already have it downloaded, then when I open google maps from the app store it doesn’t show me the location i wanted to navigate to, I’ve tried making google maps as default but it doesn’t work.
