Talabat: Food, grocery & more 4+

Hello Devs, I have relied on Talabat for the past couple of years and it’s a great app, super useful and convenient. I rarely faced any issues, but for the past 2 weeks, things have taken a turn to the negative. My level of disappointment towards the customer service from the Talabat team, restaurants and drivers has gone through the roof. I’ve faced so many issues the past 2 weeks where almost with every order I had to contact the Talabat team for wrong/missing items. This is very unfortunate and getting out of hand. I fully understand that none of this has to do with the app’s functionality, on the contrary the app is great as I’ve stated before, but I don’t know where else to shares these concerns.

للأسف لقد حدث خطأ أثناء عملية الدفع الإلكتروني ، حيث تم سحب ضعف المبلغ مني ، وتواصلت معهم وأرفقت لهم الأدلة والاثباتات بأنه تم خصم ضعف المبلغ ، ولم أجني فائدة سوى أنهم قالوا لي ان البنك قد خصم وأنهم لا علاقة لهم بالأمر . مع العلم أن عملية السحب صارت في نفس وقت الدفع . واحضرت كشفا يدل على ان البرنامج قد خضم مني الضعف ولكن لا فائدة ، وبسبب هذا الموقف حذفت البرنامج كليا ولن أرجع للتعامل معهم أبدا . نقودي ذهبت هباء منثورا.
Unfortunately, an error occurred during the electronic payment process, as double the amount was withdrawn from me. I contacted them and attached evidence and proof that double the amount was deducted, and I did not get any interest except that they told me that the bank had deducted and that they had nothing to do with the matter. Knowing that the withdrawal process took place at the same time as payment. And I brought a statement indicating that the program had made me weak, but it was of no use, and because of this situation, I deleted the program completely and I will never go back to deal with them. My money was wasted.

They make it almost impossible to use any vouchers and even if you fulfill all of the requirements then they’ll give you some bull crap error message saying you can’t use it or something. Also don’t use credit cards to pay because they’ll most likely draw extra cash from it and each card you add has a 1 rial fee. They also mark up their prices and the delivery fee isn’t what it actually is. For example the delivery fee is 0.6 OMR and the final cost would be 6 OMR but ordering the same exact items in store only costs 4 OMR??? The customer service is horrible as well. They make it really difficult to get to a real person now. I had to contact the Mcdonald’s instagram account to try to get a refund for an incorrect item and I still didint get a refund. Not only that but they kept making the same mistake and giving me the wrong item. I’ve probably lost 15 rials in wrong items by now.
