Inkle Designer 1-2-3 4+

Inkle Designer 1-2-3 makes it easy for you to design your own warp-faced band weaving patterns and track your progress when weaving your design. You can design plain weave, Krokbragd, complementary warp pickup patterns, and supplementary warp pickup patterns. These latter two categories include the pick up styles commonly referred to as pebble weave, Baltic, Monk's Belt, and more.

Inkle Designer 1-2-3 breaks the process of creating a band into three steps: Create, Design, and Weave. The app includes a screen for each of these steps.

1. Create Screen
- Start a new project from scratch. Define thread types for warp and weft, create a color palette for the project, name the project, and add keywords for later searches.
- Start a new project from provided templates for popular pick up styles.
- Duplicate one of your existing projects and easily change colors of warp and weft threads.
- Create freestanding color palettes, not attached to a project, and upload them into existing or new projects later.
- Add threads to your warp. Select the color of threads individually.
- Add repeats of threads in the warping draft.
- Displays a drawdown and a warping draft.
- Displays an estimated width of the band and the total number of warp threads in the draft.

2. Design
- Design plain weave bands by color, rather than the thread-by-thread approach used on the Create screen.
- Create pickups and pushdowns.
- Control which threads are visible while you are designing.
- Create band sections, separated by an empty column, to help you visualize designs.
- Control the layout of the Design Screen. Choose flush or offset arrangement of rows, the number of rows to display, and toggle on/off an up indicator.

3. Weave
- Displays a view of the full band and an enlarged view of the current row to be woven.
- Tap the current row to mark it woven and advance to the next row.
- Easily undo the woven mark, either one row at a time or in bulk.
- Displays current row number, estimated finished length of your woven band, and estimated length of finished weaving.

Inkle Designer 1-2-3 includes a toggle for light theme, dark theme, or device default which will choose the theme that matches your device settings. It also includes a setting to select inches or centimeters as the default measurement throughout the app.
