Branch to Hope is often called Jesus’ app. It is a social media platform that combines the power of a like-minded community, the power of prayer, and the 21-day habit-forming concept, to take your daily spiritual growth to the next level.

The inspiration behind the 1:11 messages and the birth of the Branch to Hope brand.

The Lord ignited the birth of Branch to Hope from a weekly prayer group hosted to share God's stories and pray for each other. During the pandemic, like most, we agreed not to gather during the shutdown. One afternoon I read 2 Corinthians 1:11 glanced at my watch; and it was 1:11 PM, and the verse said:

“Please help us by praying for us. Then many people will give thanks for the blessings we receive in answer to all these prayers.”

I felt the Lord inspiring me to send a daily text at 1:11 PM for our group of 18 to pause and pray for each other and our country. As interest grew, I was soon texting over 250 people daily. Hence the birth of our Branch to Hope App launched on 11/11/21.

Now automatically, a notification reminds all Branch to Hope Prayer App users to pause and pray for each other and our country daily at 1:11 PM.

We desire for people throughout the country to pause and pray in unity together at 1:11, igniting a prayer movement that can change the atmosphere of our troubled land. The power of our prayers can make a difference, inspiring a movement to weave God back into the fabric of our nation, as our forefathers intended when they founded our United States of America. We pray that churches and ministries, far and wide, reach out to their flock to encourage others to join us in prayer at 1:11. Our prayers plant seeds, and God will create a harvest; that’s what the Bible says.

The 1:11 notification also offers a daily message based on the day's Scripture, which aligns with the date. When we glance at the date on our phones, watches, desk calendars, or car dashes, it’s a reminder to reflect on the day's verse and explore a creative way to weave God’s Word into our conversation.

A final piece of the daily notification aims to enhance our relationship with Jesus through encouragement, to make a daily habit of one of the nine Fruits of Jesus’ Spirits, found in Galatians 5:22-23. The association with the day's color aligns with one of the Fruits of the Spirit. For example, each time one sees the color YELLOW, it's a reminder to be more KIND. The next day when our eyes focus on the color BLUE throughout the day, we seek ways to be more JOYFUL. And it continues each day for nine days and then repeats. They say it takes 21 days to make a habit, and 9 x 21 = 189; therefore, at the end of 6 months, we live more in the character of Jesus. If people throughout our community intentionally and effortlessly commit to this habit each day, this daily encouragement inspires our spiritual growth and creates a very different place for us to live. The Light of Jesus would shine brighter throughout our world, and where there's God’s Light, darkness diminishes; in unity, we can Light up the world.

Our Branch to Hope App is a secure place to create prayer groups for families and friends, co-workers, alumnae, church and missionary groups, and for the downtrodden and heartbroken, growing in faith and encouraging testimonies from answered prayers.

Overall, we need unity back in our communities. Our Branch to Hope is designed to be a safe haven to love and be loved, pray together in simultaneous unity, igniting a thirst to adopt the character of Jesus in our lifestyles and a growing desire to become more enriched in God’s Word, weaving daily Scripture into our conversation.
