Description
Go Doko is a reminder app with a difference. Instead of reminding you to do a task, you are reminded to visit a Place of Interest (POI).
How many times have you come back from holiday only to realise that a POI you had read about in a magazine, seen on television or been recommended by a friend was in the area? Go Doko helps you to remember these POIs by sending you a notification when you are nearby.
Features include:
- Search for a POI and create a notification.
- Set a geo fence around that POI to any distance you like.
- Receive notifications when entering the geo fenced area.
- Navigate directly from notifications.
- Use icons to represent different POI categories (e.g. museums, historic sites, cafes or restaurants).
- Set individual alert sounds for each POI category.
- View your POIs with distances from your current location.
- View POIs on a map.
- Disable notifications for individual POIs.
* Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
