The McMaster Textbook of Internal Medicine mobile app gives you convenient access to the first comprehensive Canadian textbook of internal medicine. It has been developed at McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada, the birthplace of problem-based learning and evidence-based medicine, in collaboration with the Polish Institute for Evidence Based Medicine.

Covering the essential fields of internal medicine, the textbook aims to answer the needs of physicians, residents, medical students, and other medical professionals who seek access to updated verified medical knowledge useful in everyday practice.

The textbook employs the GRADE (Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development, and Evaluation) system to indicate the Strength of Recommendations and Quality of Evidence.
