If you’ve played the original Angry Birds but not the sequel, you’re in for a treat.
Angry Birds 2 is constantly evolving with in-game events and updates (including new clans, jetpack stages and hatchling pets). And it offers plenty of novel ways to smash up those rascally pigs.
Now you can launch birds in any order – very handy for alternating Matilda’s bomb drops with Chuck’s precision strikes. Birds aren’t the only things you’ll fling, either: you can slingshot spells too.
Try lobbing a monsoon of rubber ducks or a pig-popping chili and watch the carnage unfold. That extra firepower is a big help in the face of sprawling, multi-stage levels and tricky boss battles.
Want to really score big? Collect feathers to level up your birds and outfit them with eye patches, space helmets and other gear. You’ll gain these items from going on daily quests, battling online opponents or braving the Tower of Fortune.
On top of all that, the game has more than 1,600 stages to tackle. Three-starring all of them might be one of mobile gaming’s biggest challenges, but if you can do it, you’ll feel as powerful as the Mighty Eagle himself.
