Description

The Aachen underground is home to a thousand-year-old treasure - the thermal springs. This is spring water that comes from a depth of thousands of metres and is therefore very hot, up to 72° Celsius. The springs are the reason why Aachen was founded.

The App „aachen 72 grad“ makes this "buried" wealth visible in the urban space of Aachen and leads to ten selected places which have a cultural-historical and/or geological connection to the thermal water springs or to the thermal water.

Worth knowing, astonishing and curious, but above all invisible and disappeared things are brought to light, conveyed in different depths and can be experienced in a playful way.

"aachen 72 grad" is an Augmented Reality Tourist Guide App, which leads you through the city of Aachen and lets you experience many interesting stations.
