The rest of my mobile banking apps are working just fine. I don't think my iphone is the problem here since i still have plenty of storage available. I find it frustrating whenever i need to transact using this app, it takes 4x the time it should. Also have to mention transacting in UITF before 12noon, you literally just CAN'T do that no matter how much you want to close the NAVpU on that time. I mean you can access your account through their website and all, but when you head to the trust and investments account, it will just keep on loading til eternity. Until it's past 12noon already, so bye bye deal. I know it's the leading bank in the country but I don't think they are paying much attention to their technological advancement which is very much in demand esp during this time of pandemic. I know they can do better. Stay ahead of your competitors not only on the financials.
Poor Online Banking Service
I have used other mobile banking app. Only with BDO app have I experienced issues. BDO is a large company but why is the application seems to be created as a thesis project? Please revamped your GUI and remove unnecessary details. You are the only app that requires recipients birthday or Middle initial. You also need to go to a separate tab just to enroll an account to your bookmarks. Other concerns are too many maintenance. It is all good so long as there’s improvement every maintenance. I am now in the process of enrolling my new device to your mobile app. But I am not getting the OTP after I type ADD DEVICE to the automated SMS. It has been ongoing for almost a week and it seems nothing is being done. Very poor quality of service. You can try and follow Security Bank’s mobile banking app. Simple and less information required when doing transactions. It will also ask you to add the account to your bookmarks should it not be added yet. Please take this review seriously. This will boost your app review once done successfully
V5.9 does not allow BDO to BDO transfer
I found 2 problems with the new version: 1. Wherein the previous version, I can do face id login, with v5.9, the app does not allow me to do the face id login. I had to enter username/password. Also, the page “Update Information” always appear after login. That should not be the case if there are no changes in the mobile number/email address used for online banking. 2. Transfering to an unenrolled BDO acct results in error, something like “try again at a later time”. For financial services, bank transfer is an essential, especially now with covid. Please fix this bug asap. I am now forced to use another local banking app to facilitate transfer to another BDO acct, and I had to shoulder additional service fee for that. Please update your version 5.9 asap.
