Ratings and Reviews
Great but needs some serious improvements
Great password manager considering it is open-source. But it got two serious issues:
**No. 1: The “Vault Timeout" in the app is not sync at all with Bitwarden’s autofill instance of the app within browser.
“Vault Timeout" is set to “15mins” and “Timeout action” is set to “lock”. Meaning my bw’s vault should still be accessible for 15mins through browser’s autofill instance of the app. But this is not the case. Once “timeout action” is set to lock, it asks for master pass in the browser.
**No. 2: Backup service is really complicated and difficult. It is not smooth at all and gives headache to any new user. You would be always worried to lock yourself or something during the procedure. This part of the app needs a huge work and the main drawback as of now.
All these said, it is still a great app. Thank you developers!
Getting used to it
I migrated from 1Password and initially it just frustrated me because it wasn’t working the way I got used to with 1Password. I guess it’s not the fault of Bitwarden, it’s just the normal friction of learning to use a new app. I initially rated it 2stars but I’ve now updated to 4 because Bitwarden is a very safe password manager which is what matters most. I took off 1 star because their user interface is really not the best and lacking in certain areas.

Offline Editing should work
I love this app since the day i purchased premium and starta using it.
The rest of features are great, specially the UI.
The only DOWNSIDE is that OFFLINE editing is not possible and quite disappointing specially when you are editing in an offline situation.
This should be able to work offline and just manually sync whenever there is available internet connection.
Hope this will be worked out asap in the next future versions.
