FAST ONLINE ACCOUNT OPENING
1 government ID and 5 minutes are all you need to open a BPI savings account. Open an account with your Passport, Driver's License, Postal ID, SSS ID, PRC ID, or UMID. No need to go to the branch. Once the account is opened, you can immediately access BPI online banking services! If you have an existing BPI credit card, loan, or investment account, you can now open your first BPI savings account on the app, no branch visit required.

Ratings and Reviews
UI is too confusing to the point of giving me headaches
Although this is a strategic departure from the previous app, which is also one of the best banking apps in the PH, the user interface in this new app is too minimalist to the point that you get confused on all the information listed in a single tab, especially for the credit card tab - this is the most confusing one as there’s not much visual indicators that the info you’re reading is under this card as opposed to the other in the same tab. It gives me headaches.
Maybe you could use better compartmentalization or division strategy instead of what is being adopted right now.
It would be nice as well to see and celebrate BPI’s new logo in the app’s logo, not just the letters BPI shown currently.
Please show also the our BPI credit points in the credit card tab instead of us going through VYBE app. It’d be better if you integrate everything into a single app.
Maybe you can try searching for inspirations from other international banks’ banking app, such as DBS / UBS / Citi. They have amazing UIs that you can try adopting.
Please utilize such innovations like digital credit card that can be added in Apple’s wallet app.
It’s good and promising as compared to other banking apps in the PH, but needs more refining. Hope you invest in the comments I’ve made as how I invested in criticizing your promising app towards digitalization.
New version Cannot be used at all
Before i love using BPI online banking compare to other online banking services until new version came i un install and install again in order for me to log in back but it didn’t work at all i cannot use it anymore since the options are to verify it with my cp number but its not working i tried hundred times but it always crashes since i am abroad and the other option is to register the device which is the same device i am using and the App itself couldn’t verify it. Like come on you can do better than this why did you update the older version that works better compare to this crappy update now. And i keep on calling and making emails to the bank itself but i got nothing just the the same automated emails and calls i got. It’s just terrible experience. Since i couldn’t use my online banking I tried to use the new ways to send money to Palawan pawnshop via web it emails me the confirmation that it was successful cause obviously it was deducted on my account but upon checking of the recipient the tracking codes are invalid i tried to reach out again to the bank still crappy automated emails answered!!!!! Kindly fix this. This is no Fun at all.
Does not recognize the same device upon changing numbers
I had a very disappointing usage of the new app. I recently downloaded the new app and deleted the old one as requested. When trying to pay bills, it kept telling me to accept the Mobile Key on my iPhone 11, which is the same device I am using. Apparently it was asking me to accept it on the old app which I already deleted and can no longer redownload. Therefore I had to re register the Mobile Key again and sent the OTP to my registered number which I used to set up but then an error received “We are unable to process at this time.”. So I tried again but this time no OTP. I tried everyday for 3 days, nothing. I restarted my phone and removed the sim, still nothing. In the end, I bought a new number and registered that as my default which I needed to confirm on an ATM machine first. Imagine the inconvenience and hassle just to update my number!
Then I went abroad and uses a different sim to use there and when I got back to the Philippines, changes back to my simcard and wanted to pay a bill, it asked me to register my device again and setup Mobile Key.
Seems the app cannot recognize the same device! This needs to be fixed!
