Callipeg 4+

Missing a key feature. Other than that, amazing app.

As I pointed out, it is missing the ability to import audio, making it hard for lip-syncing.
Other than that, this is an amazing app. You can easily get to animating something since everything you need to get started is on the interface.
When you start digging through the app to see what it can do, you’ll come to realize that they have answers for almost every question of "how can i do this / that?"

I hope people take time to read the app and the descriptions first before claiming "clickbait". I think it’s unfair to rate this one star, since it only take a cup of coffee to try out.

I will update my review when audio importing is out (bump to 5 stars most likely) and when I have more time to make animations.

Thank you for your review! Audio will come later this year or early 2021. We are going first to focus on the transformation layer, to keyframe location, rotation and scale settings of any layer or group of layers.

Some requests

A great app.

Request: I like the floating menu, but I prefer to keep it in one corner of the screen. I don't want it to jump to my fingers whenever I trigger the gesture accidentally. I wish the floating menu gesture would automatically be disabled when the floating menu is already on screen, so that it stays where I placed it in the corner.

I keep accidentally triggering the floating menu. "Allow gestures while drawing" is already disabled. There should also be an option to disable the gesture entirely.

I wish the magnetic canvas rotation would not allow arbitrary angles in between the specified magnetic angles.

It would be nice to have a custom floating menu, where i can place buttons for flipping the entire canvas and rotating to specific angles, for example. Or buttons for frequently used brushes/brush sizes.

Bug: Backups don't work. After working with it for a couple of weeks, there's still no "Callipeg" folder in "On my ipad" in the Files app. My ipad is fully updated with lots of space. I've also tried disabling and enabling backups in the callipeg settings.

Transformation layer

This is a game changer, hopefully you could add more to this feature like - opacity/transparency, warp, skeleton/joints. Blend modes too. Also the ability to import groups of png files all at once. You should look at the features of core animator. They already have those features that i mentioned but it seams they already stop updating, so i am hoping that you bring those features here so I can fully switch to your app. Also if you could adjust your user interface to be a bit more bigger so it would be more easy to use. Over all a great app. Still getting used to the features, especially the gestures.
