Accountability, reliability, affordability
Had I subscribe earlier to Chegg Study during my primary years in the university, I expected life wouldn’t be as harsh as it would be. Nowadays, requirements that need to be submitted are easily found online through the help of these platforms, how you’re able to manipulate it to your advantage depends on how you use its features for the sake of compliance and not depending entirely on the said platform.
Search with camera option frequently faulty.
When you use this app to search for a question, the default option opened is the camera, where you will take a photo of the question and the engine searches matches for you.
A few problems with this— one, the engine frequently returns nothing, and brings you back to the camera screen. No search results or even the page that allows me to post the photo you just took. This results in the need to hard close the app on the iPad, wait a short while, and relaunch it. A completely unnecessary and tedious when repetitive process.
Two, it ONLY shows you the best match (as judged by the app). There is no option to scroll through other results that could have better answers or are more closely related to your question.
Aside from that, it’s an okay app, but since work using Chegg heavily relies on searching for questions, a faulty search engine brings its reliability down a lot.
Account being suspended by bot by accidentally opening two websites
Please improve the way you monitor the accounts. The thing is even if i follow all your guidelines on how to use it, if i accidentally opened another browser then the account will be suspended for sharing when i didn't even share it. I dont now why this happens always but being a student who always need to review this is very stressfull given that at some point i opened another browser accidentally. I do hope you hear and act on this review given that i pay monthly only to have an accessed to it for 2 days. Thank you and may god bless you!
