Still need some improvements
I haven’t know anything about this chome remote desktop until teamviewer forced me to subscribe to continue their service. First i was using google web remote desktop which is currently in Beta. It is easy to use but quite uneasy to setup the host. I would recommend the web app instead of this mobile app since this app doesn’t offer feature that work the same as the web app specifically the “Right Click”. I hope soon! Also like the other review says “KEEP IT FREE”.
Useful keep it free
Its very useful hopefully they make a right click function soon!!!
Just one niggle
Very useful. My one niggle is that it messes with the keyboard layout. My desktop and ipad are both set to a non-qwerty layout (COLEMAK) and the letters being sent to the remote desktop from my ipad-connected keyboard are jumbled, because the keyboard input is, in effect, being rearranged into the COLEMAK layout TWICE.
There should be an option to disable keyboard-reinterpretation on one end of the remote desktop connection.
Tldr: the keyboard is unusable when simultaneously using a non-qwerty system keyboard layout on the ipad and the remote desktop.
