Jack of all trades, master of none

Cladwell used to be very easy use in 2017 when I first came across the app. I still like it today in 2020 because I can’t find any other app that automatically puts together outfits for me. But there are so, so many features that Cladwell can remove and instead focus their efforts on bug fixes and optimizing what they already have. What’s taking these big updates so long anyway?

Some areas for improvement:
- Even after wearing an item, item will still have a 0 count in the least worn items section
- I don’t need a button on the homepage guiding me to a personal stylist on Facebook — it’s ugly to look at
- outfit “playlists” only suggest “feeling neutral” outfits
- I don’t see ALL possible outfit combos, only the ones cladwell’s algorithm recommends
- I don’t need a social feed on an app like this, besides there’s not much to do on it anyway
- I don’t want to shop on the app — the point of the app is to tell me how to make use of what I already have
- if I try to access the app offline, I am automatically logged out and have to go through their signup flow all over again
- looking through the “all possible outfits” feed is buggy and keeps on jumping from place to place within the feed

TLDR will still use Cladwell because there’s nothing like it. But it’s not my favorite. I just want the simple Cladwell back.

Good Idea, Executed Poorly

TL;DR: This app is expensive. It takes money you saved from buying clothes, and gives nothing much back. You’re probably better off just upgrading your Netflix subscription and staying home.

+ Finally got to delete the challenge capsule
- It recommends wearing only shoes and a top
- Can’t edit daily outfits
- It’s hot out but tells you to wear a sweatshirt
- Ever since I updated the app there have been nothing but issues
- That streak emoji is pointless; I wear clothes everyday
- Refreshing outfits does barely nothing
