ColorLover-Personal Color Test 12+

(Warning: rly long review) i luvvv this app btw, just a few things need fixing pros:

1. the analysis of products and match rate to your season/undertone/temperature. there's even a product analysis tab where you can request an analysis of any product you want! granted they can't always analyse it (especially if the products are sold outside of korea/hard to get in korea). and analysis usually only takes 2-5 days!

2. self-test analysis quiz that you can do. i'm not sure how accurate it is tho, but i think it's pretty detailed. 3. neat, cohesive pictures of the product shades + some products have swatches/when worn on lips pictures of each shade if you scroll down.

4. pretty good filter for searching products. you can filter out by season, temperature, undertone, and even texture (e.g. matte, glossy, satin, etc.) 5. it has a pretty good translation button 6. it doubles as a social media app. there's a browse tab where you can look at other people's posts and see their info about their season and undertone/temperature. i find this feature kinda clunky feeling tho.

cons:

1. some products' shades aren't in the same catalogue (i.e. some shades of the same product collection would be under a different name making it really confusing). i requested a product analysis of a shade once then realised that i couldn't find it because it was under a different product name.

2. this is probably just a me problem, but some product shade names arent cohesive (i.e. one product would be named "04 berry red" and the next one would be just "09" or "03 핑크“). i don't mind some shades being in korean but i'd like if either all the shade names were in korean or all the shade names were in english. some of the shades are also in badly written english (saw one today called orange c*ck, i assume they meant coke?)

3. you can't edit or delete your reviews. i realised i was the wrong season but i couldn't change or delete my review. the review had my old season so it might be misleading to other users.

4. when you search specific colours/shades of a product in the search bar, it doesn't show up at all usually (it only shows you predicted searches, but then when you click enter the actual product/shade isnt there) i think when you search brands tho, the actual brand products show up.

5. it logs you out if you don't use the app for a while. i think after it crashed i lost some of my liked product shades. sometimes the app crashes randomly if i use the app for too long as well.

i found the app thru tiktok. and ive always wanted to get a consultation in person because im not a good judge for my own skin tone but i feel like finding out im more warm toned helps for makeup. although it says gold accessories suits me more, idc i like silver better
