Sometimes, cooking or heading out to a restaurant just isn’t in the cards. Deliveroo makes those moments far more memorable by delivering meals from places that don’t normally do that. The quick, clean interface makes it super-easy to find nearby burgers, sushi—whatever’s calling your name—and then place an order. We particularly love how the real-time updates on the driver’s progress tell us exactly when you'll get to satisfy that appetite.
Rude Driver
I have always counted on Deliveroo because they always come on time. But for the first time ever, I have encountered a very rude and late driver. The instructions were clear, but when he can’t find our building, he won’t listen to us and instead would talk too much. I have placed my order by 3pm, he arrived around 4:10pm. I only ordered 2 milk teas. When he arrived, he was rude to my mom and didn’t even apologize for being late. Giving 4 stars because of this incident, but Deliveroo is still my favorite. I just hope we won’t encounter him again.
Delivero apps order location to be delivered disaster
Delivero Apps need to sychronize the address to be delivered and must be detected by apps immediately to a nearby shop or store or rider. The apps should Not follow to a current location of person who ordered food. Example, I am in a current location, i open the apps to order food for my wife that she is far on my current location, i set complete address of her location to be delivered but the apps did not detect where to be delivered the order. Even the rider is not aware to find in the apps where to be delivered before click and accept the order. The issue is, after clicking or accepting the order only to know by rider that the location to be delivered is very far then the rider start to call you telling many excuses etc until did reach your order, fail to deliver. The apps should follow the address to be delivered so that the nearby shop will initiate to prepare the order and nearby rider will collect then deliver too.
To the rider, The rider should check the location to be delivered to make sure the order will arrive to the right location. You are a rider do not follow the current location who ordered. You need to check where to be delivered before you click and accept the order.
