I used the NEW app for 2- 3 months, it was working although credit and debit are updated after 1-2 business days and worst if its a weekend. Suddenly i'm unable tolog in before Christmas until now. none of my credentials are accepted and I can't even do reset it. We need a working app. The old app is so slow and have to do OTP every time we transact online. Please Eastwest, you need to do FIX this soon!

Poor customer service & Issues with online banking

I’ve been banking here since 2016 for my personal savings, but this is the first year I’ve consistently faced issues with unposted amounts through this NEW APP. And guess what? Customer service is the worst—they’re rude and no manners. If you’re sarcastic, so am I. :( They won’t give you an exact time frame, and each agent seems to follow a different set of rules. Unposted amounts feel like they take 48 years to be credited back. Yes, even now, no credit has been returned. It’s just like my experience with loans—despite being fully paid, they debited my account before, and it still took what felt like 48 years to get my money back. And wait, there’s more, the agent told me that you can only use one device for online banking. So, if your phone is lost, you can’t access or lock your account immediately via the desktop version. When I insisted on resetting my password to use my laptop, the agent claimed it wasn’t possible. From terrible customer service to issues with the app itself, I’ve had enough. This will be my last year using this bank account. I’ll focus on my major bank Chinabank. Thank you for your service over the years Ew.

I’ve been using the EastWest EasyWay app for a while now, and I must say it’s a very reliable and convenient way to manage my accounts. The interface is user-friendly, and I can easily navigate through the features like fund transfers, bill payments, and balance checking. I appreciate the app’s responsiveness and overall stability – no crashes or major issues so far.However, I would love to see the addition of more features, specifically the ability to link and manage personal loan accounts. It would be incredibly useful to track loan balances, upcoming due dates, and make payments directly through the app. Adding this would make the app a more complete banking solution. Overall, I’m happy with the app and looking forward to future updates!

Been trying to log in to my account for the past month. It’s an endless loop: Tried logging in-> told me to Register instead-> tried registering my account -> states that I already have an account so I just have to log in-> tried logging in again and yep the cycle goes on.Finally e-mailed them about this pressing issue. Was informed to log in through a link they sent, and that was when i found out my account my temporarily blocked. I’ve only used the app for about a month tho. Oh and i forgot to mention that this issue started when i received a notification that i have to update the app. So much hassle. Please test your app before making it available to the public.
