Great purpose, not so great app

I really appreciate that 80% of your profit goes to planting trees. And am really impressed that we can do that buy just looking things up online, which, over billlions of people do everyday. But if you’re gonna want to be more popular and attract more people to your app, you need some changes. First of all, the interface if quite, incomplete and uncreative. You need to make it look better. In fact, that’s why I almost wasn’t gonna get the app. I know 80% of money goes to planting trees but to give more money to that campaign you need more people, and by doing that more people will be attracted and you will be able to plant more trees. Second, you need to switch search engines. Bing is not popular or appealing to most people. It’s search results are ok and a lot but I suggest you switch to Google because it’s a lot more known to people, it’s faster and it has a lot more search results and great search results. Lastly, it just feels... uncomfortable. I say this cause the interface looks old. You need to adapt to a more modern design. It needs to be user-friendly. I also suggest to sponsor or get sponsored by someone who is popular so more people will come which will create more trees to plant.
Anyways, I hope you follow these suggestions and continue to plant more trees and save the environment especially this Earth day. Thank you

Why deleting emails helps environment?

The emails that are transmitted over the internet are being stored somewhere. They are usually stored over multiple servers around the world. The servers are stored in big data centers which consume crazy amounts of electricity every day. And electricity is still mostly being generated by fossil fuels which results in global carbon emissions (CO2e). So the correlation is straight up, emails cause green house gas emissions.

Great Vision, But lacks Execution

I love how this app/company actually plants trees. And i love the thought that by the mere tap of a button, we could plant a tree with little effort. However, the interface of this particular application is substandard. I do not want to criticize it, because it has a great advocacy. But the harsh truth is, the application needs big improvements, if it wants to reach more customers, or if it wants to stay in the spotlight for long. Ultimately, i feel like i’m punishing myself for helping on planting a tree, which should not be the case when it comes to application. On the other hand, I understand that 80% of your profits goes to the actual plantations of trees. So, i really could not criticize why your interface is substandard. However, I think that you should find a balance between the two variables that attracts your customers.
