Some things from F2 are missing

I had version 2 and I can’t find some things upon upgrading(without subscribing): Start week view is now subscription which was in V2, I can’t see the whole week(7 days) since it removes days with no appointments, and the most annoying, the functionality for the watch app is gone unless you sign in which is silly since my calendar is already on iCloud.

Asks you to subscribe for very basic features

I loved Fantastical because of the one time payment in the past that I was much happy to pay for that came with basic essential features that in a calendar.

But a calendar app asking a user to subscribe for basic features such as viewing your entire day’s agenda? Hmm. I totally get if users would be charged a subscription fee for automated services or customization features that are essentially add-ons by nature, but a subscription fee for viewing your day and month’s appointments? Sorry, but I guess this is the end of the line for me with Fantastical. It was a great app.

The update & subscription fees are useless

It used to be a seamless app that just works. Now they’ve added useless features and hid it behind a subscription fee with some basic features that you’d be forced to pay for.

That would be fine, since i was a fan, but now nothing works! the watch app just became worse, you have to pay for basic features.

And they’ve lost touch with what made fantastical great in the first place an “all-in-one” easy to use calendar that bridges my reminders & calendar together. I was hoping for some updates and little improvements here and there but not an entirely new direction..

Now its just not worth paying for the subscription tbh. You
