I love foxit because it allows you to open multiple files at once. This feature is really handy when you use a lot of materials for the day. It has helped me a lot. But sometimes the app crashes and it takes time before you can access it again. If you have something really important to read, or access, you can't because the document you opened in foxit will not appear as a file in your device, so I hope this problem of the app “crashing” for unknown reason will be fixed as soon as possible.

Things about the new update

Good: 1. Smoother way of higlighting. 2. The undo button can now be easily accessed 3. Enables us to highlight a single letter 4. Finally...there’s a new feature for underlining a word! :)) 5. I’ve been using Foxit for 6 years now! I’m really grateful for the developers 🥰 Bad: 1. I’m having a hard time choosing a customized color for my highlighter. There are so many buttons to push. When you select another color, the one you previously customized is gone. 2. It’s so laggy when you scroll the file. 3. They removed the “save” button and replaced it with an autosave feature which sometimes fail. It’s so annoying when the app crashes and then my work would suddenly be lost. 4. I think the “type a word” feature was better in the previous update. 5. Can you bring back the feature where you can put the tool bar in the lowest part of the screen? I can only put them on the sides. Please don’t make too much changes😔 the old features of foxit were better UPDATE: After I think 2 years(?) from my previous review. The app is still the same. I have the same positive and negative feedback as what I have written before. I’m still giving 3 stars ‘cause the app really didn’t improve that much. You could do better than this. I’ve been thinking to switch to another app because of this.

Foxit team is so sorry for the bad user experience. Foxit will take your feedback seriously and try to fix the "Bad" features you mentioned. For #1, you can customize your commonly used highlighter colors in the home tab. For #3, after turning off automatic saving in the settings, you can manually save the document through save. Thank you for your valued feedback!

I AM ALSO UNINSTALLING AND NEVER GOING BACK! I can’t believe it I lost all my files!

😖😣😫I don’t know what happened but I lost all my files! I keep hitting the iCloud but it does not show all those files I have collected and annotated all these years and I need them in my studies. It’s like I was betrayed by this app I so trusted all these years until this happened. You know what? This is an example of a selfish company that really does not care for its users/clients. I suspect you lost all my files because it is the easiest thing to do. If you could have sent say a survey to know the preferences and tendencies of your users who could be future subscribers, you would know I wouldn’t mind subscribing or paying as long as my collected and annotated files will be protected by your app. I’m devastated that all my files were lost just that! No trace of them. I dont blame icloud as up to now it has preserved all my beyond 5 years old photos and others files. I AM ALSO UNINSTALLING AND NEVER GOING BACK!
