NOT WORKING, BAD APP
Okay, Google. Let’s get straight to the point. I am extremely frustrated about the fact that when I search Google Maps on the app, it ALWAYS says “Oops, something went wrong. Please try again.” I’ve tried everything I can to fix it. What’s worse? The map wouldn’t even load! It would not show anything, it just shows the blue location of where I am. I try to change the layout of the map, but it’s just the same, nothing works. Not even anything else works, I tried many more stuff to fix it. I tried reinstalling it, didn’t work. I tried resetting my iPad, didn’t work. I tried to clear the cache on that app, but it also WOULD. NOT. WORK. I highly do not recommend this app. Honestly, I’d give it 0 STARS if possible. It was working really fine. Now, for no reason, it really doesn’t work at all. Bad app. Never using it again. I’ll look for a better map app. This Google Maps thing seriously NEEDS improvements.
Always the best but......
I live overseas and am using an iPhone 14 Pro Max. First iPhone I've used in years, not impressed but that's a different matter. I read that the latest version of Google Maps for iPhone corrected the offline maps issue that occurs on iPhone when connectivity is lost to revert to your stored offline map.
Based on my experience last evening, this issue is NOT fixed. I have an offline map downloaded to the phone and several times when I lost carrier signal the map just died, no navigation. Very frustrating since it was a considerable amount of time before connectivity was restored.
Best navigation App
I absolutely love the Google Maps app! It is extremely helpful and has revolutionized the way I navigate through the city. The app is highly accurate and always gives me the best routes to reach my desired destination.
The app has a very user-friendly interface and it's easy to use even for those who are not tech-savvy. The search function is amazing and I can find any location, business, or address with ease. The app also gives me updates on the estimated time of arrival, which helps me to plan my day accordingly.
One of my favorite features of the app is the ability to save my favorite places and routes. This is extremely useful as I can quickly access them without having to search for them every time.
Overall, I highly recommend the Google Maps app to anyone who wants to easily navigate through the city. It is a must-have app for anyone who loves traveling and exploring new places.
