Anyone can join a meeting on Meet via an invitation. However, some capabilities are available only to Google Workspace customers.

This app is amazing but.....
Hi, So i have been using google meet for school/online classes and i’m using my ipad for school but there is one little suggestion i would like to say. Whenever i’m having class i always pin my teacher’s presentation, but whenever i want to see all of my classmates, i can’t see any change layout feature at all. So i would like a change layout feature. And i also have one more problem, Whenever my teacher says we need to type in the chatbox it always covers the whole screen and i can’t see my teacher’s presentation, so it would be nice if you could make the chatbox cover only like half of the screen so that other iPad users including me could see our teacher’s presentation. That’s all i would like to say and clarify thank you.
SUGGESTION FOR FUTURE
Hi Team Google! As a heavy user of Meet every day I’m using this for the may webinar I found out some lack of functions and it is very hard to use for some instances. For example, limited viewing participants. I hope you can add pages where we (the host) can see all the participants, not just one screen. Maybe you can add some pages where we can next it so we can see their faces whether they open their cams or not. Next, rename. It's really hard to give instructions for our participants to rename their names.
Lastly, thank you for adding the raise hand feature. Will try this tomorrow's webinar.

Frustrating until...
This is good app in general, especially for online classes but it’s very frustrating that we need to be using at least iOS 12 to be able to install. Some of us cannot update to this iOS version. If we cannot install the app with our current device, we should have at least one other option to use Google Meet, like the web browser on our ipad or iphone. Very frustrating that we have neither of these options.
I felt extremely frustrated until I found a way around it. I tried installing it to a compatible Iphone and then went back to the incompatible one’s App Store - lo and behold, I already had the ability to download the last compatible version!
