I have been using Grab for a while now, but I have encountered a recurring issue that is both frustrating and costly. On multiple occasions, I have placed orders from shops that were marked as open on the Grab app, only for the drivers to arrive and find them closed. This has happened to me at least twice, and each time, my money was wasted. Despite the deliveries never arriving, I was still charged for the orders, which is completely unacceptable. When I tried to contact Grab for assistance, I found that my concern did not fit into any of the provided options. I have repeatedly requested to speak with a real person, but due to the app’s limited support options, I have never been able to do so. It is incredibly frustrating to lose money over an issue that is entirely Grab’s responsibility. If a shop is closed, it should not appear as open on the app, and customers should not be charged for undelivered orders. The lack of proper customer support only makes matters worse, leaving me feeling ignored and unheard. I expect Grab to address this issue immediately and ensure that customers are not being charged for services that are never fulfilled.

Great but sometimes…

Grab’s absolute go-to when it comes to travel and I also love that the app provides other services. For context, I am a PWD card holder so even if traveling via a car hailing app is on the more expensive side as compared to the normal commute scheme, I prefer using this for my own safety and comfort during the commute. However I’ve noticed that whenever I try to book using my discount privileges, it takes forever to be able to book a driver or my booking gets cancelled without any thought whilst booking a normal ride takes less than a few minutes— only ever taking longer in periods of bad weather or during the rush hour. I understand that our driver partners need to earn a living but the obvious preference to regular bookings over discounted ones are a little bit unnerving. The same situation also goes for my nieces or nephews that travel to school through a booking via this app. In the same vein, I allot about 3 hours for every single time I need to travel— be it to the hospital or some place else. First, of course is to cater to traffic but another reason is because of the long time it takes to get my booking accepted. I am aware that drivers are notified if their passengers are those with these special privileges, but if I may suggest to only have them informed through the app when they have already arrived at the pick up point. This is mostly to avoid bias and obvious preferences against discount holders.

I switched to GRAB for my food and delivery services because i wanted to try an online service who can really deliver quality service.. When i finally tried the food delivery even the pabili with GRAB i was really amazed at how efficient the grab riders are, they are very professional and what i loved the most is the contactless option and they are really great in following instructions especially to busy people like me. However, These past few days of delivery, i am again experincing some annoying deliveries from riders who doesn’t follow instructions and the contactless option i was enjoying is not there anymore. Food riders are not as efficient as those i had encountered before. I am writing this review becausw I have always been a GRAB APP user even abroad with the Grab Car/Taxi services. I am always amazed by your efficiency, effectiveness and great services. I don’t want it to change, in fact i want it to level up even more. But if the new riders will not be monitored with the poor delivery services, then I will be really sad for GRAB. I hope this review will be considered.I LOVE YOUR APP and the QUALITY OF YOUR SERVICES … Please maintain it and be vigilant to anyone or anything that would do harm in your system. Thank you!

Bad Driver and Arrogant Riders

Terible app. I have to pay double for my grab car because I wasn’t notified that i already paid my ride with grabpay and the driver didn’t even tell me that i have already paid my ride. Not knowing that, i paid another via the drivers gcash acc. I forwarded this concern of mine via their customer service email address and their reply was it’s my fault for not recognizing that i have paid via grab pay. Wow, now it is my fault and they didnt even return the money i paid. I hope the developer will recognize this flaw in their app and I hope my concern will be addressed as well. Also, my mother who has the same app had a terrible experience with this app as well. This happened this night, particularly from grab cebu, A rider who delivered our ordered goods was mad at as for waiting a long time outside our home and for not returning his messages and calls. How did we know if he ever called or texted us when there is no notification received notifying just that. Now I have to deal with the anger of the rider and i have to deal with my own anger as welI because i reciprocated his attitude with mine. I know there is a misunderstanding in this situation but if the company or developer has a great amount of concern to their customers then they must fix this issue and help avoid similar issues as well. I have downloaded this app for my benefit and I didn’t download this app for the purpose of receiving such inconveniences. If they continue to this, then i suggest the developer to stop running the app and close the company.
