Direct Song Download — Download songs anytime, anywhere. Updating your song library has never been easier and more convenient. Download new GV Smart Song Packs (SSP) directly to your phone, then authenticate them with the GV Smart Card (available on www.grandvideoke.com). Once authenticated, your downloaded GV Smart Song Packs will automatically sync to your Grand Videoke.
Voice Command+ — Searching for your favorite songs is faster and more accurate thanks to the new and improved voice command engine. Search English and OPM songs, as well as artists in seconds.
GV™ Air Transfer — Wirelessly transfer on-screen messages that allows users to cheer while someone is singing. Transfer pictures from your phone to the Grand Videoke and use them as your video background. Intermittent Connection
Passable user interface but the intermittent connection makes it irritating to use. From time to time the app disconnects from the machine when the phone sleeps. And it requires to stop the current videoke session (taking the whole song lineup in reserve list with it) just to reconnect the app again when the “load last connection” fails. And this happens quite often.
Hope the developers can find a way to store the last connection in a more stable fashion.
Update version 1.2.3 failed
My ipad and iphone cannot connect to the videoke machine after i’ve updated the app. It says “[ap(karaoke)] wi-fi name: .... wi-fi password: [ap(i-phone)] wifi-name: (null)... not connected to the same wi-fi(ap) with karaoke machine. Please check and connect to wi-fi(ap) connection same as your karaoke machine.” every time i connect it. I tried resetting the karaoke machine, i also tried resetting the network of ipad/iphone but no success at all. I hope you would fix this problem as soon as possible. Thank you in advance and more power.
Doesnt work in iPhoneX + has In-app purchases
Pairing instead worked for an iPhone5 which is super odd. Installed so many updates only to find out adding new songs requires in-app purchases. Sad.
