Awesome app for lazy but plants lovers
I have always been lazy to learn more about plants that fascinate me because either I have to start reading about them in a book or google them up but with this app, the detail descriptions come on handy and I just have to relax and enjoy learning and identifying plants all day during my vacation time.
It’s all good, but sometimes inaccurate.
I’ve been using this app for over a year now and even upgraded to Premium services. However, lately, I noticed that there some inaccuracies. I take a picture of a plant I know of, but the result/name came out differently. There are also some plants it kept identifying as such when it is not that. I think it gets confused with similar leaf patterns and colors. There’s also an instance that I took a picture of a different variety of an orchid, it identified as a cattleya when it is not. Please fix this issue as it is quite disappointing.
Scam alert! Tricks you with a bogus “7day free trial”
It said there was a 7 day free trial so I installed it. I thought I would be billed after the 7 days if I don’t cancel. I just wanted it try it out for a day. On the first day I installed it, I was already charged a 1 year subscription. I cancelled my subscription and I got the message that the cancellation will be effective after 1 year. I looked up reviews about the app and found that there were other people who were duped the exact same way I was. When other apps say they will give you a free trial, they won’t bill you yet until the trial period is over. I can’t believe Apple allows this. Oh, and the app is not that accurate.
