Description
Data loaded in IDV (IMAIOS DICOM Viewer) isn't uploaded on the network to ensure storage safety and security of personal health information of the patients (excluding use of sharing features).
IDV supports DICOM files of all types (ultrasound, scanner, MRI, PET, etc.) and offers several fast and intuitive tools such as scrolling, image manipulation and measurement.
It allows you to easily open any file stored on your device or accessible online for quick viewing whenever you want.
Completely free for personal and non-commercial use, IDV is also accessible in its online version on the website www.imaios.com.
Caution: IDV has not been tested or certified for clinical use. It is NOT approved as a medical device. It cannot be used for primary diagnosis in medical imaging.

Can’t believe this app is free
So convenient for a medical resident who looks at DICOM on a daily basis. OK for patient apprisal. Suggestion, if the measuring tool can show the measurement in centimeters or mm instead of px. Thank you again to the developers. You are helping a lot of radiologists and clinicians, and patients as well.

Dear user, we're happy to inform that a new version of IDV iOS has been released. It contains among other things the implementation of measurements in mm/cm instead of pixel (when it allows -> the series must contain pixel spacing information).
Still with some glitches
Good app but some .dcm files are still not viewable. Thanks.
