For 30 years, the INQUIRER has been at the forefront of setting the agenda, chronicling events both momentous and ordinary with ardor and enthusiasm.

We want to spark change in society and so we ask the questions nobody else asks. The answers we get make us a source of credible news sought out by Filipinos in the Philippines and overseas.

Now we invite our readers to experience the INQUIRER in a whole new light with this new version of our smartphone app.

All the features you like (bookmarking, caching, the QR code reader) are still part of the app but we’ve added an Upvote feature.

Tell our Guyito mascot which stories are 'Pang Inquirer headline 'yan' and our editors will take note of that when preparing the next day’s paper and tablet editions.

We also want to get stories from you. Use MY STORY to send a report or any tale you want to share with us but which would rather not send over social media.

Most of all, we maintain journalistic integrity and provide you with breaking news straight to your mobile.

Almost Perfect

All seems great until you try to share an article to facebook or twitter, please fix this, thanks!

Handy but lacking

Useful for reading the news on the go and getting daily updates on current events. User interface needs improvement - it isn't as intuitive as I hoped it to be, and "READ:" links are not hyperlinked to the article they are referring to; why are they there at all? The app also frequently crashes ad doesn't allow for a more personalized way to read the news, unlike apps like The Guardian which allows you to pick the type of news as well as specific topics that pop up on your home page, while offering categories in a sidebar.

My father is a heavy reader of newspaper. Of the newspaper companies available, he prefers PH Daily Inquirer and he used to buy a lot of circulation when I was a child. Then, I realized that I also prefer PH Daily Inquirer because I fully trust their story. To me, they're not biased. And I love that they can be accessed anywhere, from Line and Twitter to their own App. I always read them from different platforms.
