How to play:
* Fill all rows, columns, and 3x3 regions with numbers exactly like classic sudoku.
* Every cell is part of a cage, indicated by dotted lines.
* Make sure the cells can be added up to the sum in the upper left corner of the cage.
* The sum of all numbers of each 3x3 region, row or column always equals 45.
* Numbers cannot repeat within cages, a single row, column, or 3x3 region.

I like the additional math aspect
the premise makes it seem like its gonna be harder than normal sudoku, but it actually makes it easier. the extra math solutions gives you more hints than a regular sudoku, and it’s absolutely a time “killer”
Not the best killer sudoku app
I’ve played it for a few days now and while I appreciate the daily challenges and the events this app is unfortunately inferior to the one by Sarah Pierce. That app has a lot of quality of life upgrades such as:
1. A built-in calculator
2. The ability to highlight multiple cells and fill them with notes at once
3. The ability to highlight multiple cells and automatically compute for their sum
4. The ability to highlight multiple cells and check a list of possible number combinations
The lack of these features makes gameplay on this app difficult not because of the sudoku level itself but because you need a separate calculator and a means to take down notes and computations. Furthermore the mistake limit of 3 per game is just downright frustrating especially given that most “mistakes” I make are input rather than computation errors; for example I mistakenly press 2 or 8 when I mean to press 1 or 9.
Finally, I don’t think that this app delivers the difficulty I’ve come to expect from killer sudoku. Anyone who is familiar with killer sudoku should know just how difficult it can truly be, and I don’t think you can get that from this app.

It’s great but can do more
It is a promising app. Very helpful in killing time especially when waiting.
I initially thought this would be harder than normal sudoku but the sums give clues. Yet, I love it. I am not a fan of sudoku but that ‘handicap’ makes it playable by someone like me.
The game could be better. Progress backup could be handy. I own two phones so it would be good if my progress in both devices are in sync.
