Love the franchise and the game. Glad they put this one in mobile too. I hope they will increase the chance of the players to get the best medals out of the deals tho 👍

When you see Square Enix as the publisher, your hopes for a great game comes to mind (so I apologize in advance for this ruthless review). I was surprised to see a free game from Square Enix. Being free though, I was not really hoping much of a great RPG. With a Kingdom Hearts title though, it would probably rack a ton of great reviews with just the title itself...well, unfortunately, imo, this is more of a COLLECT and CLICK kind of game. Ranking high in pvps also involve money and time (the usual free to play problem). What's bad is mainly the gameplay (set aside the amateurish graphics)...it is so brainless and far from the usual feel of kingdom hearts. Sure, there is the toxicity and variation of leveling/customizing everything appearing on the screen, but, the gameplay itself is just child's play. I guess you can't really expect much when its on mobile. Still, for a free game, feel free to try it out and grind out to your heart's content. Btw, it needs a lot of space and a fast connection (as it downloads a very huge patch after the tutorial), so dont bother if you dont satisfy these criteria.

Played the game for a year, as a fan of Kingdom Hearts, and at first enjoyed the game for its flavor and fairly balanced gameplay. There was still a p2win aspect since there were randomized banners, but it didn’t hurt the game much since it was PvE. However, pvp has been introduced, and with it, broken mechanics and greedier pay-to-win, including the ability to spend money to buy direct power enhancement. Very frustrating.
