Feels like the traditional tamagotchi improved!!
I'm so happy that after 20 years, the official Bandai-Namco has finally released a mobile phone based Tamagotchi app! I've been waiting forever since Tamagotchi toys are becoming harder and harder to come by. The characters have become 3D and the environments more life like, but the feel and structure of the virtual pet game is still the same. I love the simplicity of the game, and everything still looks really CUTE and very Japanese. I love the detail and craftmanship they put in these games, as well as the many unlockables and that surprise factor has been retained. I am willing to purchase this app if it comes to that. For improvements, I would agree with one comment here that they should expand the character list to include more tamagotchis!! I would also like some items to be secret, and I would like the capability to trade your tamagotchis with other players, maybe even marry them and have next generation of tamagotchis. I would also like it if there's a feature that will allow you to experience/take photos with your tamagotchi using the camera, much like Pokemon Go does. Anyways I've never been so excited for a game for so long. I hope this will start a new trend and following upon new players. Double thumbs up for Bandai-Namco!! 👍🏼👍🏼
A refreshing take on the beloved classic!
It’s a mobile adaptation of our favorite egg-friend-pets, one which offers both nostalgia and new fun.
I see that it’s catered for the younger generation. It’s for those who like to spend ungodly amounts of time on their mobile phones just to play a game or scroll through social media, rather than spend a few minutes to check on the necessities. This is clear to me because I have been spending more time on my mobile phone tamagotchi compared to my previous tamagotchis... Something I’d say is both good and bad.
I miss the responsibilities!
Anyway, for improvement, I really hope the game dev team expands the character list. Tamagotchi is fun because you get to get a bunch of different pets depending on how you care for them. Eight is too little compared to what the little egg device offered.
Something wrong happened
I love it! I’ve been playing this for years, but then when I opened it like this day 2023 feb 24 it kept the loading screen on it wouldn’t send me to the game, although I still like the game.
