It’s no wonder this charming game became an Internet sensation. Cute cats always help, but when you consider the Pokémon-style collection, Neko Atsume’s popularity seems almost inevitable. Simplicity is another part of its secret—you just set out treats and toys in your yard, then check back later to see which kitties have shown up to enjoy them. You can snap photos to share with friends and discuss exactly how to tempt all 48 felines into making an appearance. We quickly got in the habit of puttering around our yard for a few minutes every couple hours…but it’s not like we’re obsessed or anything. Honest.
A game that helped me cope with grief
My cat died three weeks ago and I’ve been very sad. I wanted her to visit me in my dreams immediately. Then I remembered this game. I decided to redownload this because I had the idea of resurrecting my cat virtually. While playing, I renamed Snowball with my cat’s name and since then, it has helped me a lot especially when the cat visits the yard and plays with the goodies. Maybe it sounds ridiculous but with this game, I feel like my cat is still here with me. Thanks to the developers of this game. ❤️
Amazing game that you can set on the side
Although some dispose it because of how long it takes to progress, I love it as it’s not that high maintenance unlike other games. Sure you may lose a few rare cats pictures here and there but I can just leave it when I am unable to use it. (During school, vacation, etc) the game is also very adorable and I am currently aiming for the miss fortune wallpaper but idk what to use to make her visit frequently.
