Happy with my Ride :)
It was my first ride tonight and I happily enjoyed the safe and secured manoeuvre of the driver.
I’m happy to have another option of a tnvs service provider which will compete healthily with the one available at the moment in terms of good quality of services/cars, safety and security, and esp on pricing.
For further improvements - App reliability and lags, availability of cars during bookings, time of booking, and simplicity of trip reports and receipts.
As I wasn’t able to make use of the advertised 20% less on a first ride, I hope I can still avail it for my future bookings. And I hope to be a Platinum member as well some rewards too!
Being a regular rider of tnvs, big thanks to our co-Filipino game challenger who made this happen despite the horrible traffic conditions in the Metro and the logistics/fleet management. Well done OWTO Team!!!
We booked our first ever ride on OWTO today, unfortunately it did not turn out as good as we expected. When our driver was near our pick up place, the app crashed and cancelled the booking. We waited half an hour for that booking but it all turned to nothing because of the poor foundation of the application. I contacted the driver and told him that I did not cancel and that owto was at fault and the driver agreed and told us that he will still pick us up. We thought he will be there fast but turns out that we were waiting for nothing. He made us wait for an hour and kept saying earlier when he called my number that he was “near” and “on the way”. After an hour of waiting and multiple text messages, he still did not respond (no updates from him even though he told us he will pick us up!) resorting for us to use the best of the rest alternative which is GRAB. Although expensive it was easier to book rides and their application system was extravagant. After booking Grab, an unregistered number called me saying he was from Owto but he was not the driver i booked a while ago. He said that our booking popped up in Owto WITHOUT us booking for it anymore. Not only does it affect us riders but it also affect drivers who came from far places just to try and fetch us. Overall, Owto for me is a #NeverAgain.

Ride was smooth and the driver was very nice while we went along with the drive. There seemed to be a problem with the linking of the app to the waze app. Both the driver's and my screens showed the correct drop off location but whenever kuya [driver] tapped on it to show a route in waze, the route and drop off location was always wrong.
Also while I was waiting for the driver to pick me up, the app kept crashing and/or logging me out so I had a little stress because I couldn't see where the driver was to add to the fact that I wasn't able to take a picture of the car and driver details just in case it arrived already.
Other than this, it was a smooth ride :) Thanks kuya! Ingat po!
