Update January 20: though camera has become slightly better, the issue of the camera still looking down is still definitely there.

You can really tell that a lot of effort has been put in, in the visuals foremost and the fact that it has voice acting at all is awesome. However, I couldn’t play past the opening minutes because I had to keep fighting the camera. If you just leave the camera be, say you’re walking in a steady direction anyway, It keeps resetting to a very tight shot, so that you were always looking at the character’s feet. I’m using an Xbox controller and this sort of issue doesn’t happen in any other game, and from what I can tell it’s best to play this game with a controller anyway so using onscreen controls wouldn’t really be the solution.

I have to admit that I had hard time getting used to the combat gameplay. You have to learn how to make perfect combos and also how to predict the enemies moves. The graphics are detailed and excellent which I also much appreciate. Gameplay, graphics, and considering it is platformed for mobile, I’d give this game 5 stars.
BUT, my concern is about the progress as I play the game. I always get frustrated whenever the character dies(because sometimes I just spam it lol). I play it in normal mode and I find it hard to progress as I play through. Players really need to invest time if they want to level the character up. Personally, I easily get bored fighting the same enemies over and over just to have that “water drip” 1 point level up stat from the altar. Just sayin if the dev could somehow work on it (like at least make it 2-4 pts) so that players may somehow “feel” their progress advance as they play because not all players may not be that patient enough to play it hard.
However, this game is OVERALL excellent and I applaud the dev for it. No regrets buying it.

The voice acting may need a bit of work, but it’s quality regardless. There are some minor typo errors and some camera/target-locking issues from time to time but too much to ruin the experience. I really enjoy the idea of switching between characters depending on the situation and attack set of enemies. There is an added feel of risk and reward when sanity goes below half or completely depletes (e.g less health but more damage for Terrence) and the game reminds me of Soulsborne series of which I truly love playing. The boss fights and frustrations of not being able to advance thru a certain part that most (new) players may feel are also there (especially if you don’t analyze the surroundings or their move set).

TL;DR. The game is awesome and is in-par with modern console games! If you’re into dark fantasy, this is definitely a must-buy!
