Pawnbarian is a turn-based puzzle roguelike with bite-sized, but challenging sessions. Play cards to control your hero like a chess piece on a tiny dungeon board, outmaneuver enemies with their assortment of tricky abilities, and become the mightiest warrior of the Chesslands!

Not Features
- No permanent upgrades, and not much that needs unlocking. The progress and satisfaction come from your growing mastery of the game's elegant systems!
- No complex and varied builds. The shops provide a few key decisions, but the bulk of the roguelike depth lies in how you approach the emergent combat puzzles!

Worth the wait but..
I waited it for like a month now and It rlly did make me smile and disappointed cause the game Is In demo u have to buy the full game soo yeah but I still recommend it.

Hey! The demo model is and always was explained in the first line of the game description. My intention is to give away a decent slice of the game to see if it's worth it for you and make an informed purchase, certainly not to bait and disappoint anyone. I have to make money somehow to continue making games, but don't like ads and microtransactions, so the only alternative would be a pure premium game without any free content to try. Hope you understand!

Good concept but it did not outright said it’s a demo. You need to buy the full game. A bit disappointed.

My intention is to give away a decent slice of the game to see if it's worth it for you and make an informed purchase, certainly not to bait anyone. Just in case, since some people miss that - there's a full Goblin Caves dungeon to learn and master, not just the short Tutorial Island that teaches you the game.
