How useful the app really is
I love Plant Nanny because it keeps me healthy. Before getting the app, I would never drink water and I got Plant Nanny to remind me. I started drinking water everyday and at the same time I got to grow a plant. I would feel guilty not drinking water because my plant would be thirsty. I recommend Plant Nanny for people like me or if you just wanna have some fun while keeping yourself healthy.
Cute app though there's room for more improvement
Cute and cool way of encouraging one to drink water. It would be better if one can record a variety of amount of water (it's not always the case that one drinks 240ml or whatever was initially set). Also, data analytics could show the average volume (in ml) drank and not just the graph. Some apps also classify water intake and recognize that the water source is not just from water but other liquids like juice, tea, or soup - that could be added (?)
My current app also seemed to have stalled -eventhough the plant is fully grown, it still wasn't transferred to a pot for me to start growing another. In addition, whenever I input new water intake, the warning that I'm drinking too soon keeps on showing eventhough it's the first time I drank in a day or it's been hours after the previous recording. I've tried removing and reinstalling the app, turned off my phone, and downloaded the update, the bug is still there. Update: the issue has been resolved!
Hydration is fun!
This is a really fun hydration tracker! Makes you want to hydrate properly. It might work for kids!
As for points of improvement, I would like to suggest a feature which would consider the seasons of the year. For example, in case of summer time, it might be needed to hydrate more frequently because of excess sweating. Also, I'm not getting any reminders. I'm still trying to troubleshoot this, but it would be better if I don't need to. LOL! Notification is allowed for this app in my phone so it's weird for it not to automatically work. Hopefully changing some settings like Persistent banner would show improvement. Despite the star rating, I would still use this app and hope for future user experience improvements. Happy hydrating!
