Already becoming pay to win

New players can no longer keep up with old players. This game needs something that can encourage new players to play the game and retain old players. This game will slowly die if you continue on money grab path. Check on other long running MMORPGs, see what keeps them relevant through so many years. ie: World of Warcraft, black dessert, guild wars etc..

They listened to the players from the event complaints

After multiple complaints, they listened and acted immediately which is a good attitude from a game developers

I started Ragnarok M: Classic because it was promoted as a free-to-play game, just like the nostalgic experience many of us were hoping for. Sadly, it has become increasingly unfair. Recent events now require real-money spending just to access decent rewards. Even basic participation often feels gated behind paywalls, making it hard for true F2P players to keep up or enjoy the game.

This shift from the original promise feels deceptive and disheartening. It’s no longer about fun or community. It’s about who can spend more. Unless this changes, the game risks losing the loyal player base it once excited.

BUFF RANGER

Ranger Needs Urgent Adjustments.
As it stands, the Ranger class is consistently overlooked in most content, especially in instances most notably against Oracle. The current state of the class feels underwhelming and misaligned with its intended role.
1. Warlock MS1 has a longer range than a Ranger’s maximum attack range, which contradicts the core identity of a "ranged" class.

2. Rune Knight’s Instant Slash has nearly the same range as Ranger skills, allowing melee classes to close the gap too easily.

3. Warlock MS1 and MS2 are not blocked by Land Protector, giving them a huge advantage in PvP and other scenarios.

4. Ranger MS2 can be completely nullified by Land Protector, including those cast by your own guild, rendering the skill almost useless.

5. Mark of Wind is ineffective as a single-target skill, and using it disrupts auto-attacks. The Rise of Wind passive is only activated through Mark of Wind, making it impractical for ADL Rangers. Casting Mark on a different target interrupts your auto-attack flow entirely.

6. Most passive Master Skills for Rangers offer minimal value, making them feel like filler rather than meaningful upgrades.

7. Ranger MS2 remains weak, even though it has AoE potential. It lacks impact compared to AoEs from other classes.

It’s especially frustrating that a class called “Ranger” can be out-ranged and outperformed in its supposed area of expertise. This directly undermines the very concept and design of the class
