Beneficiary Name UPDATE

This is in regards with the new update where we should use the full name of the beneficiary to transfer using instapay. However the app does not accepts the beneficiary full name with different bank/online accounts. Therefor on my end I need to add another character at the end of the same benef name with another online account so that it wont be rejected by the app. I hope u can fixed this that allows us to saved duplicate names on diff bank/online accounts, to avoid confusions and errors. Thank!

Show approved installments done via the app

You are now requiring us to process our installment requests via this app. Unfortunately, it does not give a summary as to whether those installments are approved. All we get is a pop up window but this is not really reflected in real-time. I even have to call your hotline twice to confirm them. My installment request was still not available in your system during my first call. I had to call for a second time (after 24 hours from the first call) to get the confirmation that my installment requests were indeed processed.

I am raising this issue to avoid the possibility of multiple processing for the same installment request. So please make sure you have the most accurate status reflected on this app.

Fund Transfer fail

I made a fund transfer to Metrobank thru Instapay. After filling in all the pertinent details and proceeding with the transaction, the message prompt was something like: “transaction not processed”. I checked my balance and it was not deducted so I repeated the transaction hoping it will pushed thru, but I got the same prompt. The next day, I checked my balance and I was deducted for both transactions. I called RCBC hotline and they said that they Metrobank will do manual posting but it will take 10 working days for them to check.

Until now, my balance is still floating since the recipient account has not received it yet.

This is one of the reason why I don’t trust mobile banking. If given the choice, I would have preferred to line up in the branch and do my transactions there rather than not having peace of mind.
