Unmatched Manga Experience
Have loved using it since 2016. Volumes get pretty pricey, so I usually only buy them for the series I know beforehand that I would 110% like. I got into World Trigger midway through because it was included in the old weekly issues. Sci-fi isn't my thing, and I didn't even know of its existence until I downloaded that first issue and read through it, but now it's become one of my all-time favorites. I wish other Japanese manga publishers follow VIZ's example to bring more content into the English-speaking community. I'd subscribe in a heartbeat.
Great Way To Read Shonen Jump Manga
This official app from Shonen Jump is really great for reading official translations straight from Shonen Jump in Japan! The only problem for me is that there is no Favorites tab. There is no option to favorite a manga. I find this irritating because there is no way for me to know if a manga I’m following has new chapters, which is why I resort to Manga Plus for the latest chapters.
Another problem of mine is being only able to read 100 chapters per day. This seems like a lot for casual readers, but for me who reads a ton of manga, I feel let down. I know they implemented this in order to combat manga piracy, but I do hope in the future they find a way to get around this.
Started my love for manga
It started with Hunter x Hunter and My Hero Academia as my kids asked me to watch the anime with them at first. Then, I got curious to know what the manga were like because my kids kept talking about them. After that I discovered World Trigger, Bleach and so many others that were so fun to read. I never thought I would fall in love with manga at my age. Many thanks to Shonen Jump for making these available to English readers (and moms) like me. Keep it up!!
