    Hi! So I’ve been an avid user of Shopee for years and I am very happy with my experience. Especially when using the SPayLater feature. It was only lately that I’ve realized a little conundrum that left me annoyed. I received an extra SPayLater credit earlier this year that expired a few weeks ago. And because I used up most of the extra credit limit, it impacted my original credit limit. And so I was so confused when nothing returned to my credit after I paid off 2 months worth of SPayLater installments. It was only after consulting the help center and getting a thorough explanation that I understood that I still haven’t completely paid off the extra credit limit I used, which is why no credit was showing up on my original limit. My only suggestion right now is to add a credit breakdown summary whenever a customer uses the temporary extra limit offered. And of course clearly indicate the user’s credit limit. Such as when a user has used extra credit limit that they need to pay off after the offer expires. Show the amount left to be paid on the SPayLater icon. Put the negative (-) sign before the amount to inform the user that they have an amount to be paid before they can gain back their original credit. I’m hoping to see this feature on the next update. But other than that, I love Shopee!

    i have been with shoppee since the time it started. i ordered hundred times with you guys from clothing to electronics to appliances to health care and all... worse is, for clothing i have returned several items because to no avail seller has to ship out different color or different size without informing the buyer. for electronics, i ordered hundred times and about (ratio) 100:30 i have returned the items because if not damage, it is defective. let me tell you SHOPPEE, your shops are getting worst and worst. this shops on your registry are the ones putting you down. they are the ones who put you in shame and would damage your image. just a week ago i have returned 6 items from three different shops because what i received is a garbage! i did not even get bothered, i again ordered from another shop and received the item just yesterday and again, it was damage! and has to file again return/refund request. imagine the long process will it take to get the refund done? have to email back to your dispute team several times to accomplish the request. this is not good anymore. can you regulate a stiffer sanctions to those shops that did not even bothered to ship to buyers their garbage!!!

  • Reporting a shopee seller

    The app is very good. Generally satisfied buyer here. But there is no feedback mechanism in the app where you can file a complaint. I ordered for an umbrella/coat hanger sometime during the community quarantine but it was cancelled by shopee because the seller did not ship my order. So i messaged the seller if they will no longer deliver. The seller replied that my order was already shipped. A few days after, I got a call from the seller and the delivery guy confirming my delivery address, apparently the seller was making arrangements for the delivery of my order. So bottom line, my order was delivered. But to my surprise, the item delivered was very different from the pictures posted in shopee. The seller clearly was lying when he told me that the item was already shipped and he misrepresented the item he is selling. I sent him the picture on shopee and the picture of the item he delivered to show him how different the 2 items are. The delivered item has a lot of similar sellers in shoppee and priced at less than 300pesos but paid mine at 500pesos. I think this is a modus operandi of some sellers because they know that the buyer has no way to complain in the app because it was already cancelled by shoppee. The seller is still selling his items on shoppee and it’s so disappointing that for a few pesos, some people still cheat buyers.

  • Lacks buyer protection!

    Overall, shopee is great. But buyer protection shall I say is not enough. The return/refund duration is bloody. It is too slow and takes a lot of your time waiting for the refund. The buyer still need to spend some hard earned money to return the item by dropping it off to a courier office. Why not ask those couriers to pick it up from us? The report seller option is almost not working anymore. We are not receiving any favor or feedback from shopee after reporting abusive sellers. Buyers must be fully protected from delinquent sellers like sending items totally different from what is advertised, forcing buyers from paying the shipping fee if we requested for replacement of the wrong, defective or damaged items. And punish those sellers who just ignore and doesn’t answer buyer’s concerns, problems or issues about wring, defective or damaged items.Shopee must give us buyers an option to select a courier of our choice when ordering overseas, and not just locked with shopee xpress. Because shopee xpress is the worst courier service among all couriers. Instead of one week waiting time, it become two weeks or more because shopee xpress courier is too slow, irresponsible and uncooperative! And it should not be called shopee XPRESS in the first place because it is not really express!

  • Beware of Chinese Sellers

    Just sharing my very bad experience from a Chinese seller located in China. I will never buy products again not only from this particular Chinese seller but to all Chinese sellers here in Shopee because i dont trust them anymore!!!I paid for the items that i didnt receive. I filed for a refund minutes after i found out that there are two missing items in my delivery + 1 damaged item. But Shopee just closed my case because the seller filed a dispute & i failed to provide evidence accdng to Shopee. What evidence do you need? I sent pictures of the 3 items i received. Its very clear that i didnt receive the other two items! The seller is not willing to refund and also not willing to send me the missing items. I will never order again from overseas sellers! I’ve been an online shopper for a long time now, you can check my purchase history, this is the 1st time that i encountered this kind of incident. Your customer service is very poor, you have to improve it! Don’t just close the case in favor of your sellers. Try to investigate 1st! Ask the buyer 1st what do you need so we can provide all the information you need! Its just a small amount of money but still, its a hard earned money. Your consumer protection is useless! I’m venting out here to make the buyers aware that they’re are not backed up by Shopee in case they encountered problem like mine.

  • SPAYLATER PERMANENTLY FROZEN

    I’ve been an active user of shopee since 2020. My shopee loyalty is platinum. I got an offer with spaylater last 2022 and it helps me a lot. I was a good payor since then but unfortunately this year I’m on my Maternity leave and my income is not enough to pay the amount due last June 15, 2024. I told their customer service the reason and I will pay before July 10. On July 3, I already paid my outstanding balance including the penalty to them including the July 15. But when I requested for full access on my spaylater they told me that I will not be able to use my spaylater permanently. Shopee is so inconsiderate. Yes, spaylater helps me a lot in buying my baby essentials but only once I was late they suddenly freezed it. I’m a good payor and a loyal customer of shopee but there’s no 2nd chance if your payment was overdue. Another one, they gave my number to different loan sharks like fast pera, fast cash and cashmum because it happens when a customer rep of shopee called me to pay my amount due and i told them that i can’t pay on that day because I’m on my maternity leave. You think I will get a loan to another loan company just to pay you? Shopee, why? For now, I will use Lazada instead. Bye shopee. My last order will be the belo deo and thats it. Bye. I will just request for an account deletion after i pay my loan balance. You didn’t value your customer that much. Anyway, I have credit cards that i can use. :)
