The previous version was better

I liked VLC because of the media organization. The new version just messes up the ease of adding videos to a media group. Also, I find myself having to close and reopen the app becausw when I add new videos and try to add them to media groups, the buttons get covered by the settings button for some reason. As I said, the previous version was already good. It baffles me why there is a need to revise the media group ease.

Needs better controls.

Love the old controls for the Brightness and Volume where I can set it to the right level. The new one is to sensitive and quite hard to get the right settings that I like. Wish you can set it in a numerical adjustment. April 26, 22. Update. The adjustments buttons for filters, playback speed etc… is not working.

Useless for transcribing

I’m using VLC to transcribe the narration in a video. For this it is almost useless. First it would be nice to tap anywhere on the video to pause. But no I have to hit the pause/play button almost exactly which is pretty hard to do on an iphone. Second, when the video restarts from pause several seconds of the audio is lost so I have to rewind a few seconds just to get back to the last narration spoken. Rewinding involves having to scrub the marker which is also very glitchy. Aaargh! Software should not cause this much stress.
