Description
VLC is a free and open source cross-platform multimedia player.
It can play all your movies, shows and music in most formats directly without conversion.
It allows file synchronization with Dropbox, GDrive, OneDrive, Box, iCloud Drive, iTunes, direct downloads and through Wi-Fi sharing as well as streaming from SMB, FTP, SFTP, NFS, UPnP/DLNA media servers and the web.
VLC offers support for advanced subtitles including full SSA compatibility, multi-track audio, playback speed control and rendering through Chromecast.
VLC is completely free and open source.

The previous version was better
I liked VLC because of the media organization. The new version just messes up the ease of adding videos to a media group. Also, I find myself having to close and reopen the app becausw when I add new videos and try to add them to media groups, the buttons get covered by the settings button for some reason. As I said, the previous version was already good. It baffles me why there is a need to revise the media group ease.
Needs better controls.
Love the old controls for the Brightness and Volume where I can set it to the right level. The new one is to sensitive and quite hard to get the right settings that I like. Wish you can set it in a numerical adjustment. April 26, 22. Update. The adjustments buttons for filters, playback speed etc… is not working.

Continue video/audio playback option not working
Continue video/audio playback does not work anymore when you open the video file via IOS Files app. Before, I can play & continue the video exactly where left it after closing the app. But now, after the latest update, it aways start at the beginning. There is always something disappointing with every app update you have. You improve a thing and then mess up the rest. Pls fix and pls make sure to test everything before you go live.
