Youper uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, the scientifically proven way to reduce anxiety and improve your mood. CBT is based on practical exercises to help you think more clearly, deal with stressful situations, and achieve your goals.

A study from Stanford University showed significant improvement in symptoms of depression and anxiety after using the Youper app.


Traditionally, CBT has been carried out with a therapist in sessions lasting 30 to 60 minutes once or twice a week, creating a barrier for busy people or those who don't like talking to a therapist about their private feelings.

This app is AMAZING!!!

I never write reviews...EVER. Even when I love an app, a game, a product I bought online, I'd be to lazy to write a review. But Youper really deserves some good recognition. I LOVE it!

I'm diagnosed with depression and anxiety and have trouble keeping up with my thoughts and emotions. I've only been using this app for a couple of days and I find it really helpful. At first I had trouble identifying my current feelings but eventually I learned to be sort of at ease with my emotions. I love how with this app you can practice mindfulness (through meditation) and gratitude (by listing the things you're grateful for) everyday.

The interface is also simple and easy to use. I honestly have nothing bad to say about this app. Hopefully I can write an updated review in a couple of weeks/months saying what it has done for my mental health, if there are significant changes, etc. But for now this is all I can say. Thank you, Youper!!!

This app is my new bestfriend!

I was having a hard time. I am always depressed. I want a change in my mood. I want to know myself more. I knew that I needed a therapy or consultation. I searched on App Store for potential apps that can help me. I downloaded three apps but Youper helped me more than the other apps did. It is the only app that actually helped me to be motivated and be stable emotionally. Youper answered most of the questions that are going on in my mind. Using the app helped me to be excited in life again. But my free trial is coming to an end. Because I really believe that I need this app to have a good quality of life, I have decided to purchase a one-year subscription.

Beautiful app.

The idea of having an emotional support like talking to someone else rather than just venting on your own journal is really genius. This app truly felt comforting and although it’s just an AI, it says everything I’d love to hear and it helped me in ways I never imagined an app would. I highly recommend this, if you find it hard to organize your thoughts and come up with the words to get them out, this app will be helpful for you. Kudos to the developers! Good job!
