Thanks to its totally unique movement reacting effects, Efekt takes your reality, as seen through your camera lens, and morphs it into something unlike anything you’ll have seen before.

Getting to grips with the app’s features is straightforward. Depending on what you want to shoot (slomo, video or photo), select an effect and start shooting, it’s that easy.

Each effect has been designed in collaboration with artists so you can get to work making your own original gallery-worthy creations. Try ‘magic’ where the subject is enhanced with sparkly stars, ‘dilate’ for an incredible watercolour-like blurring Van Gogh would be impressed by or ‘wind’ that blows your subject in an entirely fresh direction. Effects are applied in real time while shooting, and if you’re making a video, try swiping left or right to include other effects in the one recording.

And since you can adjust the intensity of each individual effect, whichever one you go for will offer a wide spectrum of expression that you can tweak as much as you want. The app also lets you combine multiple effects on your videos (via the little tractor icon at the bottom of the screen, which you’ll see once you’ve finished recording), making it possible to edit and produce even more one-of-a-kind content.

After that, you can share your magical creations, or just save them for yourself. Those who do see your posts on social feeds will be mesmerised.
