Thanks for the feedback! More colors and grids are available right now in the settings, which can be found in the upper-left corner. In there, you can enable “Show Grid”, or change the grid pattern under “Customize Grid”. You can also add more colors under “Color Palettes”. I’ll definitely consider the other suggestions for upcoming updates.
