About CSS Exam:
CSS exam or Central Superior Services exam is a highly competitive exam conducted by the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) once a year (usually in February) simultaneously all over Pakistan. The exam consists of 1200 marks, 600 for compulsory subjects and 600 for optional subjects. Optional subjects have to be chosen carefully from the designated groups as mentioned on FPSC website (list available in our app as well).
The applications are usually opened on 1st Oct of every year and the deadline to choose your optional subjects, submit the online application and courier the printed application to FPSC office in Islamabad is usually 30th Oct of each year. Best is to complete this process a week ago to avoid any last minute adrenaline rush.
These are the 6 Compulsory exams of 100 marks each:
English Essay
English Precis & Composition
Islamic Studies (or Comparative Religion for non-Muslims)
Pakistan Affairs
Current Affairs
General Science & Ability
According to FPSC data, most of the students fail in English Essay or English Precis & Composition. Students mostly clear the exam in 2nd or 3rd attempt. A maximum of 3 attempts are allowed under the age of 30, unless you are a government employee or domicile of Azad Kashmir in which case the age limit is 32.

Useful App
I'm using CSS companion app since I've begun my preparations. And I would like to thank you so much for such a wonderful experience.
This app is perfectly designed to ace exam preparations and to navigate in a right direction, ubiquitously. Moreover, Mcqs practice sessions are of great help. These are really time saving. One can easily practice all of the past papers MCQs at one place altogether.
However, there are some shortcomings, which I believe would be overcomed.
I hope you'll continue to serve the CSS aspirants in a generous way, as you are paying your dividends in the good cause right now.

Thank you very much. Yes our team is working full time to remove shortcomings and add more data and features. Finding and adding past exams of about 50 subjects was an uphill task and we are still on it. After we complete finding and adding past exams, we will add more features to the app.
Great aap but needs some changes
I think it should be free for all not for the payers and the app should be updated with the passage of time I personally face the problem that said u are no more again play quite session and taking the option is weakly payment and monthly is unjust so it should be free for all students and payment options should be removed as soon as possible
